Abstract

In recent years, the incidence of the tuberculosis of the bone and joint is decreased tendency with the good hygiene and the development of the preventive medicine for the tuberculosis. But the authors experienced two cases of tuberculosis of the sternum in
the children, and treated with surgery and anti-tuberculous chemotherapy. and results were very excellent.
A brief review of the literature is included.
